Improvements to Spalding Station

From Monday 3 November 2014 until further notice there will be no step-free access to Platform 2 at Spalding station.  We are working to reschedule all of our trains to arrive and depart from Platform 1 until further notice.

These changes are part of an improvement works programme in Lincolnshire lead by Network Rail to improve train performance and safety.

Southbound trains between Lincoln, Spalding and Peterborough are not affected and will continue to depart from Platform 1.

The majority of Northbound trains between Peterborough, Spalding and Lincoln will now arrive and depart from Platform 1.  This will mean you will no need to cross platforms as step-free access is available.

Unfortunately, some Northbound services will still depart from Platform 2 and will have no step-free access at Spalding from this time.  These include the 0833 and 1241 services from Peterborough to Lincoln, scheduled to call at Spalding at 0857 and 1303.

If you're travelling to or from Spalding on any of these services and require step-free access we advise you to organise travel from Sleaford station where possible.  If you still wish to travel from Spalding station and require step-free access for any of the affected services, please call our Customer Service Centre on 03457 125 678 where alternative transport will be arranged for you.

We apologise for any inconvience caused during these works.
