Disruption Warrington - Manchester

Updated Information 1208

What has happened?

Our trains are being disrupted due to a person being hit by a train earlier today. This is disrupting our trains on the Liverpool South Parkway/Nottingham/Norwich route.

Network Rail and Emergency services have been on site and we are now able to start running trains.

What's happening to my train?

The line is now open but due to the nature of the incident it may take some time to fully rocover our timetable. Most of our trains have been starting and terminating at Manchester Piccadilly however, we will soon begin to start running trains to/from Liverpool South Parkway.

What should I do?

We expect our normal timetable back in place at approximately 1300 hours so until then you may continue to use your East Midlands Trains tickets on board Northern and Transpennine Express services between Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool South Parkway.
